Intro to state contracting for Hmong entrepreneurs

Minnesota Department of Administration is hosting a Networking Day for Hmong small business owners. The State of Minnesota is committed to leveraging talents creativity in building and sustaining the state’s supply chain. We will discuss how to work with the government, steps to certification, application and supplemental forms, navigating the technology, finding opportunities, and contract compliance. There will be an opportunity to network with the Office of Equity in Procurement (OEP), APEX Accelerator, Office of State Procurement, Hmong American Partnership, and Hmong Chamber of Commerce resources throughout the event. The goal of this event is to help businesses better understand how the state buys what it needs, and how these resources can help Hmong-owned businesses better position themselves to successfully compete for state contracts and grow their business.
