Legal information: criminal expungement

Having a criminal record can make it difficult to obtain work, housing, or professional licensing. However, in certain cases a person can request that the court seal their record through a process called expungement. Attend this virtual information session via Microsoft Teams to learn more about the criminal expungement process (who is eligible, what is sealed, how to apply, etc.) and have general questions answered by an attorney. Presented by Central Minnesota Legal Services and funded by Friends of the Hennepin County Library.

The session is free but registration is required. The link to the live online discussion will be emailed to registrants in advance.
