Clinics at the capitol employment and economic development

July’s event will be on Employment and Economic Development in partnership with MN Management and Budget (MMB), and the MN Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).

The Office of Equity, Opportunity, and Accessibility (OEOA) advances inclusive policies and community-driven initiatives across Minnesota to ensure every resident can thrive. We collaborate with state agencies, local partners, and communities to break down barriers and build stronger futures in Minnesota. Our new initiative, Clinics at the Capitol, will run through the summer and offer hands-on help for Minnesotans seeking opportunities with experts from the state at the people’s house. Event highlights include:  A resource fair, workshop breakouts, support, and intentional efforts to hear the voices of MN communities. Participants will gain resources to broaden and vary your customer base by including the government marketplace, ample networking and training on:

  • Support for job seekers including resume reviews and tips for navigating state hiring
  • Resources for individuals looking to start or grow a business
  • Information on workforce development grants and upskilling programs
