Reduce your risk, protect your future – SBA mitigation information session

Did you know the U.S. Small Business Administration offers additional loan funds for mitigation projects which can reduce future risk?

The U.S. Small Business Administration is hosting an information session for homeowners, business owners, and private nonprofit organizations.

In this session, SBA will help answer:

  • What is mitigation?
  • What is the mitigation loan option?
  • How can mitigation protect my home or business from the next disaster?
  • When can I apply for the mitigation loan option?
  • How can I apply?

This session is designed to help SBA borrowers understand how disaster loans support recovery and long-term resilience. The SBA mitigation loan option allows eligible borrowers to request up to 20% of their verified physical loss from their initial physical loan to fund property improvements intended to reduce future damage.
