This no cost workshop focuses on preparing small business owners to ask for small business loans. It is designed to help our entrepreneurs to stand out, and will cover everything from business credit, understanding business financials, and pitching to a lender. Breakfast and lunch are included.

• Understanding Your Credit: Understand and establish personal and business credit.
• Preparing Your Financials: Equip yourself with hands-on financial analysis skills to help you discuss financial statements with a lender.
• Putting It All Together: Knowing how to pitch your business to a lender is an essential ingredient when requesting funding. Learn how to inform the lender on why they may want you as a customer.
• Insightful Panel Sessions: Hear directly from lending experts about what makes a strong application and how to stand out as an applicant. Participating lenders include U.S. Bank, Bell Bank, Twin Cities-Metro Certified Development Company (TCM CDC) and WomenVenture. Have your questions answered by industry professionals.
