Step into Minnesota’s innovation story at Minnebar20

Every year, Minnesota’s tech and entrepreneurial community comes together to spark ideas, share knowledge, and build something bigger than themselves at Minnebar, an event from the tech-focused community organization Minnestar.  

This spring, that tradition continues with the 20th annual event, Minnesota’s largest and longest running technology conference. The event returns Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Best Buy Headquarters in Richfield. 

This year, we want our Elevate Hennepin entrepreneurs, founders, and innovators to be part of it. 

A community built experience 

Unlike traditional conferences, Minnebar has no keynote speakers, no rigid agenda, and no barriers to participation. Instead, the day is shaped by the people who attend. Anyone can lead a session.  

From software developers and designers to small business owners, marketers, and first time founders, Minnebar brings together people who are curious, driven, and ready to learn from one another.

• March 19 – April 19: Session submissions open
• March 24 at 7 p.m.: Ticket release one
• April 2: MinneAMA – Crafting an awesome Minnebar session
• April 7 at 2 p.m.: Ticket Release two
• April 19: Session submissions close
• April 21: MinneAMA – How to Minnebar
• May 2, 8 AM – 7 p.m.: Minnebar20 at Best Buy HQ 

Tickets are free and tend to go fast, so early registration is encouraged.
