Food Entrepreneur micro grants available

This is a reminder that applications for the TMEF Micro‑Grants close July 1, 2026. This program was designed to help small consumer‑packaged‑goods (CPG) businesses grow and reach new markets.

Administered by Renewing the Countryside, the program offers $5,000–$20,000 to Minnesota‑based food and beverage businesses earning under $1 million annually. These flexible grants help entrepreneurs tackle specific challenges such as:

  • Scaling production
  • Improving packaging
  • Preparing for wholesale

The program prioritizes makers who face systemic barriers in the industry, ensuring more entrepreneurs have access to the resources they need to succeed.

Applications close July 1 at 11:59 p.m. Eligible businesses must hold or be working toward a Wholesale Food Processor/Manufacturer License.
